In 2024, Rail Cargo Group (RCG) launched its new TransFER connection between Port of Rotterdam and Linz, Austria. As RCG’s local agent in Rotterdam, we handle all data processing, planning and additional transfer services for optimal train operations within the port. As part of our Intermodal Forwarding portfolio, we offer our customers the opportunity to book on this frequent Rotterdam - (upper) Austria train service.

With the TransFER Linz–Duisburg–Rotterdam RCG offers not only an optimal connection between Austria, Germany and the Netherlands to Western and Central Europe, but also transfer options within Rotterdam to the Maasvlakte and Waalhaven terminals and Antwerp. Accommodating all types of stackable containers as well as swap bodies.
