Successful launch of trailers via the Bayern Express

More and more companies are choosing more sustainable and efficient transport solutions. A good example is the collaboration between Outdoor Life Group Netherlands (OLG) and Bos Dynamics, which recently transported their first trailers via the Bayern Express between Rotterdam and Munich. 

For Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal (HPEI), this demonstrates that companies can truly make the shift from road to rail using a reliable intermodal connection. On 28 May, the first trailers were successfully loaded in Rotterdam, following extensive preparation and close cooperation between all involved parties.

By transporting a large part of the freight by train, companies reduce their CO₂ emissions and decrease their dependence on challenges such as traffic congestion and driver shortages. Intermodal transport therefore offers a practical and scalable alternative to fully road-based transport. The choice by OLG and Bos Dynamics for the Bayern Express underlines that sustainable logistics is already possible today.
