Since 2009, Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal (HPEI) has been offering a wide variety of intermodal transport services between the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp and the leading economic centres of Western and Central Europe. We connect both seaports with many inland terminals in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium by means of more than 30 weekly inland barge services. HPEI is also the largest maritime rail operator in Rotterdam, offering more than 40 weekly services to and from various destinations in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Every year, approximately 1.000.000 TEU is transported within this network.
Fast, flexible and sustainable hinterland transport
The container terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp serve as the starting point and terminus of the HPEI connections. From here, we quickly, flexibly and sustainably transport your containers into Europe (and vice versa). You can benefit from a wide range of supplementary facilities and services at all the inland terminals in our network in that respect. If desired, we can also deliver the containers right up to your front door or collect them there.
