Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal (HPEI) is taking the next step in the digitalisation of its services.

In early June, the Transport Logistics exhibition took place in Munich, where Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal was enthusiastically present. The event was highly valuable for us to further expand our network.

Fifteen years ago, Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal launched under the name ‘European Gateway Service’. One of our first IT suppliers at the time was Modality (ICT Group), and since then, this collaboration has continued uninterrupted.

This year, Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam will once again be present at the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, together with Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal.

Together with Haeger & Schmidt Logistics and RTB CARGO GmbH, we have been working successfully in Kehl for 10 years. A special milestone.

In May 2023, we started the rebranding of former European Gateway Services: Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal.

In 2024, Rail Cargo Group (RCG) launched its new TransFER connection between Port of Rotterdam and Linz, Austria. As RCG’s local agent in Rotterdam, we handle all data processing, planning and additional transfer services for optimal train operations within the port.

From now on, we have a weekly barge connection between Hutchison Ports Venlo and MCT in Port of Moerdijk.

From now on, Hutchison Ports Europe Intermodal offers a direct barge connection between Venlo and Antwerp.
